Engagement Session in Chattanooga Tennessee

Photos on the Water

So I was bored one day and decided to take a trip. Decided to drive to Knoxville and photograph a couple of styled shoots then I extend my Tennessee stay by a few days and hung out in Chattanooga. Exploring the city and mountains has always been a dream of mine. While there I reached out through some online forums to see if anyone wanted to get some photos done while I was there, and Sarah responded saying they would love to!  As a local Sarah gave me some great advice on where we could go for the best shots in the area.  Her and David were just the sweetest couple and so fun! Even though this Wisconsin girl was baking in the Tennessee heat we stayed out and got some truly amazing images down by the water.  We watched the sunset over the mountains and waved to passing by boaters. The night was truly a well spent adventure.

Chattanooga Tennessee

Chattanooga, a vibrant southeastern City in Tennessee, known for its natural beauty, rich history, and thriving cultural scene. The city is situated in the scenic Tennessee River Valley and is surrounded by the beautiful Appalachian Mountains.

One of my most favorite attractions in Chattanooga is Lookout Mountain, which offers stunning views of the surrounding area. It’s simply breathtaking! You can take a scenic drive up the mountain or ride the world's steepest passenger railway. At the top of the mountain, more attractions can be explored such as Rock City Gardens or an underground waterfall, Ruby Falls.

The city also holds a vibrant arts and culture scene, with a tons of galleries, museums, and theaters. There’s so much to explore while roaming around in the sun. The Hunter Museum of American Art features an impressive collection of American art, while the Tivoli Theatre hosts a variety of performances, from concerts to Broadway shows. Whether you’re interested in arts or music, Chattanooga has it all.

In addition to its beautiful scenery Chattanooga is also known for its delicious Southern cuisine, with a variety of restaurants and cafes that serve up classic Southern dishes such as fried chicken, barbecue, and biscuits and gravy. The fried chicken was my favorite!

Overall, Chattanooga is a unique and exciting city that offers something for everyone, from its natural beauty to its rich history and culture. Whether you're an outdoor enthusiast, history buff, or foodie like me, Chattanooga is definitely worth a visit.
